Fate was cruel when it decided that Cory would be born in Australia and not in a nice solid Republican state in the US. I hope it is a solace to him that most Australians also think this was a cruel twist of fate.

I'll never pay for the wisdom contained within. No vision, no compassion, but full of the acceptance of good fortune and basic common sense. Hardly worth the effort to publish such trite rubbish.
Having said that, he is Australian after all! The country that gave us Pauline Hanson. Bernardi and Hanson both seemingly products of the Australian electorates political apathy.
This diatribe is so toxic that if you set fire to the book it's highly the likely the EPA will be onto you.
Australia has a new hate figure. And I for one am overjoyed because we all need a good Voodoo doll to stick pins into while we sit on the toilet.
The author/publisher claim it is a statement of 'mainstream' conservative values, but it is nothing of the sort. The views expressed may have been mainstream once, but certainly not since the mid-sixties and now they are offensive to 'conservatives' and liberal alike.
Bernardi has the right to his opinion, but I know the publisher will loose a fortune on this tripe and they deserve it for giving a platform to this bigot.
