Once again, Lisa Cardiff nailed it! The conclusion to Hattie and Rykers story was perfect!
From beginning to end .. This book had me drawn it with all things going on.. I didn't want to put it down.
Loving the fact that the series is written in Dual POV, it keeps you wondering what's going on with either Hattie when reading Rykers POV and vice versa. The angst, action and the unexpectentcies keeps you on edge.
So good! I'd give it more than Five Stars!

This is the third and final book in this series and they must be read in order. I loved this book and it was a great completion of the series. Hattie has been kidnapped by the Alvarez Cartel because Rever and Ryker took Anna Alvarez. It doesn't matter that they didn't kidnap Anna Alvarez, that they were just doing what she asked them too. Ryker is going out of his mind, yet another reason Hattie is better off without him. He is determined to get her back and make this right. He makes the ultimate sacrifice to rescue Hattie; he agrees to join his father's cartel in order to get the help he needs to rescue her. Ryker is torn between what he has promised Hattie and the deal he has made with his father. He can't risk Hattie's life be in danger anymore. Ryker is learning that more is going on with his father's cartel than anyone knows. He may have to risk himself and Hattie to get the future they both want. Will everything work out? Is there a traitor in the cartel? This book is a bit less emotional than the others. However there was that one part where I was hesitant to read because you know Ryker is going to do something stupid that could end his relationship with Hattie for good. I have loved this whole series and look forward to reading other books by Lisa in the future. The characters in this series are great. I felt like I was pulled into the book and a part of their world. The books were wonderfully written and engaging. I can't say enough about this book or the series.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

HASH(0x96e40b1c) out of 5 stars I love love love this book! 11 Oct. 2015

“Silence ticked by, and I bit my lip, wishing I felt stronger, more confident. Instead, I wilted under his unreadable gaze. He exhaled and took a couple of steps back, his hands slipping from my shoulders. I immediately mourned the loss of his touch.”

5 lucious, sexy Cartel stars!!! I can’t begin to explain how much I loved this series, and I love the Vargas Cartel!!! Super sexy and fun series!!! Highly recommend it!!

Revenge will be sought.
Love will be tested.
Lives will be lost.

One minute, I could see my future with Hattie and our baby. The next, moment cured me of the illusion. Vargas blood ran through my veins and regardless of what I wanted, the darkness would always win.

Make no mistake. I will save Hattie.

I will kill every last person affiliated with the Alvarez Cartel. But then, I will set her free…

Because that’s the only way to save her from me.

I love a good mafia/mob book and this book proved why!!! This book will definitely keep you on your toes, it’s thrilling and suspenseful and sexy in all the right ways. I loved all the characters and the story was beyond exciting to read!!! I’m a huge fan of Lisa Cardiff now!!! Great author and great series!!!

HASH(0x9515beb8) out of 5 stars Brilliant Series! 9 Oct. 2015

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! This is my first time reading one of Lisa's series and I'm wondering why I haven't come across this amazing writer before now as I sometimes read 2-3 books a week. I love her writing style, there's no annoying angst that drags the story along, no painful heroines that are weak and whiny, she fits into my type of action, love, heat and sex with a perfect flow of tension. I know, I know, you're asking why the 4 star rating, well I'm a harsh reviewer and 4.5 is the glass ceiling for me and you can't go up from there.

I also loved that all the complete series are available to read, so I devoured the three of them within days. Well done Lisa I can't wait to read more of your books.

HASH(0x9ec8a504) out of 5 stars a bit disappointed 29 Oct. 2015

I enjoyed the first two more...in this installment, I just felt like more should have happened, or things went unexplained. *spoiler alert* One minute she was kidnapped, the next they were married, living on the beach with a kid. And the author introduced "Noah" who showed an interest in Hattie, but at the same time there was no basis for the interest, as they had very little interaction. I felt it ended abruptly, with no resolution to Rever's ex, their dad (and Ryker's mom!), her parents, and the Alvarez cartel. There were many scenes where I thought, "Oh, I would have done this or that instead). And why would they stay in Mexico?! The book just didn't 'flow' if that makes any sense.
