Product Description

Review

Gripping, informative and well-paced (Independent)

I would class this book with the first-rate achievements of Graham Greene, Charles McCarry and Le Carre (Chicago Tribune)

Combines the landscapes and rugged manhunts of Geoffrey Household with the dispassionate sniper's eye of Eric Ambler (The Times)

Gives the many-sided suspense story such a wealth of factual detail, it is in the same class as Frederick Forsyth's best (Daily Mail)

About the Author

Gerald Seymour exploded onto the literary scene in 1975 with the massive bestseller HARRY'S GAME. The first major thriller to tackle the modern troubles in Northern Ireland, it was described by Frederick Forsyth as 'like nothing else I have ever read' and it changed the landscape of the British thriller forever.

Gerald Seymour was a reporter at ITN for fifteen years. He covered events in Vietnam, Borneo, Aden, the Munich Olympics, Israel and Northern Ireland. He has been a full-time writer since 1978.

as usual, from Gerald Seymour, a book full of interest, packed with incident, and artfully written. He's just the best thriller writer around today.

A bit long winded with too many characters and too long chapters and a lot of confusion in many places

A bit slow and disjointed compared to other G Seymour books. About 3/4 through I started to enjoy it.
I nearly did not complete it.
