Buy Turns into Stone for the B sides and non-album singles while Sally Cinnamon and its associated B sides are cosntantly rereleased. Spare yourself the shame of having this in your record collection and get the proper records.
For 'The Complete' Stone Roses experience simply buy 'Stone Roses' and 'Turns Into Stone'.
Do it. Do it now. If you haven't discovered the Stone Roses yet then you owe it to yourself.
The Roses were a great band and these songs are amazing, but you'd be much better off getting either "Turns into Stone" or the more recent "the Best of". This isn't a bad compilation by any means, it's just that there are far better Roses compilations available.
That's where the great idea stopped.
This album was put together by a wally in an office with a tash, a Liverpool shirt and a male member tattooed on his forehead. Conspiracy? Has to be. Why else would someone do this?
There were some great alternative versions of I Am The Resurrection released on 12 inch, but to release a version cut short of the amazing play out is blasphemy! Why bother? What's the point? What's the meaning of life?
I haven't given this 1 out of 5 just because it has some great B-sides on it (proving what a superb band they were) and if you're new to the Roses it will impress you but this could have been done so, so, so much better.
Will someone at Silvertone please contact me so a quality 'Complete' can be issued.

Despite the record company controversy surrounding this record it certainly documents the rise of the legendary Stone Roses which alone is worth five stars.Published 4 months ago by Amazon Customer
I missed The Stone Roses first time round so wanted to give em a go with an open mind. Unfortunately every track sticks on the cd so I can't form an opinion.Published 5 months ago by whitby
