5.0 out of 5 stars Twain is Ridiculous 25 Feb. 2010
By Jairus R. Mcdonald - Published on Amazon.com

This is probably the greatest book I've ever toted around. I take it everywhere because a Twain short story is always a good idea. His wit still remains unmatched and his language spans from proper England to the deep South. He does it like no one else.

I loved reading it and I was surprised that my youngest kid enjoied some of the stories too. Mark Twain is still fresh and funny.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great American literature! 18 Mar. 2012
By David E. Aeh - Published on Amazon.com

Mark Twain writes in great detail and depth as well as in regular language of the time. The short stories give you another side of him and his time. I like reading short stories to give me a change from my other reading and his are great. More than a few are funny and actually fun to read out loud to others. Short stories of any type are good for bedtime; at least for me. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars What's not to like? 27 Dec. 2012

What's not to like? It's Mark Twain!
It is thick and heavy, so think about ordering this as a Kindle book if your Kindle allows you to move easily from place to place.
I prefer the look and feel of a book with marginal notes (mine) and underlinings (mine) and color coded tabs (also mine).
5.0 out of 5 stars Why I like Mark Twain 14 Mar. 2013
By William Middleton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I chose this rating because I am very fond of most things that Mark Twain writes and his writings always bring back memories of the times I spent working on the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and many of the other area he wrote about.
