A great collection of songs that are the essence of the R.E.M. I loved during my younger years.
A nice varied selection; some of which I had on B-Sides to vinyl singles, with others completely new to me.
Tracks such as Moon River, King of the Road and Time after Time were firm favourites of mine and I am pleased to be able to add them to my digital collection. Live tracks of early R.E.M. songs also make a welcome addition to my collection and sound more authentic than the ones released previously on the Dublin or itunes London albums.
I particularly like Disturbance at the Heron House (live) which Stipe carries with such minimal backing really showcases his voice and the emotions of the band at this point in time.
A great collection for R.E.M. fans, but not necessarily the best collection for occasional fans of the group or people who preferred the post-Out Of Time era.
