This book, does not do what it claims, it only has very basic knowledge of sports injuries for each area, and only gives the most common for say the knee etc....a good book for a school student or handy for the home, but anyone involved in the management of sports injuries should look elsewhere, be it student, sports therapist, physio, this book is way too simple, and some of the rehab protocols are out of date! for a new book this is not a great selling point.

Provides some basic taping and stretching for a few injuries. There are much better in depth books e.g. Clinical sports medicine but as a starter great

I preordered this as I am a big fan of Chris Norris's books. He holds an overwhelming knowledge of all things sports injury aswell as health and fitness (He has other titles in the complete guide range that I would also recommend)and this book is no exception. I really like the layout and the variety of treatments that are covered. Highly recommended.
