Product description
Review
"This concise but well-rounded guide is packed with excellent information and advice for the beginning and more experienced Witch alike. From core energy concepts to correspondences to working with crystals and herbs, Lidia Pradas blends the need-to-know basics with unique insights rooted in years of experience. I particularly love the “Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me” sections at the end of each chapter. Readers are in good hands with this grimoire!"

There are also many tables throughout which give easy and referenceable knowledge comprised in an easy to read format for example; giving tables of the elements, their direction, colour, symbol, influence, and representation ideas; Chakras, their number, colour and correspondences, substitutions of typical tools; the sabbats, their sabbat type, the event, and the dates in both the Northern and the Southern Hemisphere; the major arcana and some basic meanings ( not including minor arcana , questionable choice); Elder Futhark , their rune name, letter correspondences and basic meaning; colour correspondences; flame types and their meaning, trees and their correspondences;the days of the week, roman and greek deities associated with them, planet and correspondences; and all western zodiac signs, their dates and the correspondences typically associated with them.
This book teaches the bare bones, or sigil work, astrology, ten deities and some basic information (these being from various pantheons ; Loki, Osiris, Hades, Hekate, Freyja, Belenus, Brigit, Athena, Cernunnos, and Bastet), energy work, grounding, visualisation, meditation, tools, Crystals ( including some of the most popular like selenite, hematite, rose quartz, améthyste, clear quartz, fluorite, citrine, and black tourmaline), the wheel of the year( each sabbat including; basic history, correspondences and activities), and moon phases.
This book does include smudging V smoke cleansing, lightly touching on cultural appropriation. It also goes over some wicca practices such as the Wiccan Rede, it is only to a very minimal level
**Intended Audiences**
This book is most certainly dedicated to a very low and beginner level book. It is very well thought out, has very easy to read language and is overall solid information. However i would not recommend this book to people above this stage, it is very simplified, and although the images (which i'm going to talk about in the *my opinion* section below) are very beautiful and make it a good addition to my shelf, it is all information which most people learn around up to 3 months in their practice. It is a good starting point for people to learn what interests them and allows them to dive into information on that topic further, but it wouldn't be classes as a completed grimoire (again i'll go over in my opinion).
This book however, is an excellent starting point, and I will be adding it to my list of beginner books which I would personally recommend to beginners just starting out. This book came out *very recently* (2nd of September 2020 was it’s release date, but this was available to preorder with an additional chapter. I have access to this additional chapter, but since it is not in the book, nor do i think people can access this chapter anymore, i won't be discussing it simply because there’s no need to. It has very relevant knowledge to the times and because of its recent *birth* it holds things relevant to today's audience (unlike older books or grimoires)
So now,to the part you all want and crave, what's my opinion? So, I do have some *minor queries* with it. An example being the title in itself, probably quite nitpicky of me, but this is most definitely not a complete grimoire. There’s a lot missing, which is due to it being for a very foundational and low level beginner, but that is just me. Personally I believe that there was more that could have been added, and I wouldnt replace it with other books I recommend. However I would recommend this to people who are just starting out. This is a great stepping stone book for those wanting to know what interests them in the craft and whether or not it’s for them. Another note is the images. The imagery in this book is absolutely beautiful, and although the information is mainly a good referenceable point, I will probably keep this on my shelf just because of how pretty the book is. Now for who do i recommend it to
Baby witches ( under 6 months )- Yes
Beginner witches (1-2yrs) - Reference point yes
Intermediate witches (up to like 5 yrs)- Probably not, unless you want the reference points and the imagery
Advanced witches- Again probably not
I’ll be adding it to my shelf for the absolutely stunning artwork personally.

In this book Lidia goes through everything with you! As a beginner this is extremely helpful for me, and I'm sure would be for any beginner. Especially on how to work on finding my energy.
The colours and art work are just beautiful and you can tell that so much hard work has been put into creating this book for us all. Even my other half couldn't help flicking through the book!!

It’s easy to read and broken down for anyone to understand it , the artwork is amazing and looks fantastic!
There are so many books out there to read on different pathways through the craft but Lidia covers them all so you can work on the path best suited for you.
There are so many books out there with lots of information which I have found to be overwhelming for my brain, but this book is so easy and helpful to read, I'm actually able to sit and read it continuously and look forward to the next time I pick it up.
The way it's written is so lovely and in a way that I'm able to connect with the explanations and information given.
The illustrations are beautifully done and i adore that it smells of essential oil and new book ♥️♥️♥️
Thankyou x
