About the Author

Fiona Barnett learnt her skills as a flower designer whilst working with the top floral decorators. She now runs her own thriving business, Manic Botanic. She has worked on several books, notably Wedding Flowers. Terence Moore s country barn workshop produces a wide variety of decorative arrangements, from individual commissions to more than a hundred constantly changing designs supplied to outlets all over the world. His published works include: Everlastings: Natural Displays With Dried Flowers (Southwater); Country Designs From Nature: Creative Displays From Flowers, Plants and Leaves (Lorenz Books); and The New Captured Harvest: Creative Crafts From Nature (Trafalgar Square Publishing).

This is a smaller, updated version of a beautifully illustrated book that offers a wealth of ideas for decorating your home through all the seasons. It gives alternative ideas to the traditional 'Christmas wreath', and my students were inspired by some of the designs on offer. Very reasonably priced too.
