No doubt some will find errors, omissions, etc but this is without doubt the most complete summary of the marque that I own and is a very handsome volume with excellent photographs. It is laid out model by model, which can be confusing at times because there is no sequential commentary. However, competing books such as those by Robson, Taylor and (particularly) Bennett can also be hard to follow at times with sometimes only vague differentiation of models, unassisted by relevant photos. Admittedly model changes were often subtle but it does help when they are treated individually as is the case in this book. All these books suffer from factual variations, notably with specs, but this is no better nor worse than the others in this regard. It remains my "go to" source and it is a shame it is no longer in print.
This book gives the full history of the Bently marque, which is well researched and written, making it very interesting reading. It also gives a picture and write up on each model manufactured, starting from the beginning and progressing up to the present models. This is a good value, high quality book for all interested in Bently.
This Book is a complete Waste of time. It reads like a Potted History of the Marque with a 1 Page Summary and a Photo of each Model. Like Many of Mr Dimmocks other Works Audi comes to mind it could have been compiled by just taking the Notes off of Brochures and really tells little about the Marque. Save your Money and buy a "Proper" Book about Bentleys. No wonder its been Remaindered.
