Work with your pet.
When you see your pet react positively to the collar, praise him and give him one of his favourite treats.
Dogs learn through positive reinforcement, so do this often.
Reinforcement, praise and treats reward good behaviour and soon your dog will stop the constant barking.
Be patient and follow the directions and soon your dog will be trained and you will have quiet in your home once again.
Do not turn the unit on for 10 minutes or your dog may become collar smart.
REMOVE all other collars and tags.
Move the ON/OFF SWITCH to VIBRATION
Later on as your dog trains, you can switch from VIBRATION to SOUND
The Sensitivity Switch gives you 3 levels of training, L, M and H.The L switch is for lower sensitivity. Move to M or H for more sensitivity as needed.
Begin your training on L for Low Sensitivity. As your dog becomes more trained you can slowly move to H and eventually wean your dog off the collar completely.
The action of your dog barking will now activate the collar.
Turn the unit switch to OFF when not in use to save battery life.
Fitting the CLIX No Bark Collar:
Make sure the plastic unit is securely placed under the chin
It needs to be as snug as possible, but leaving enough room for one or two fingers.
Issues with the Battery:
When replacing the battery, please ensure that batteries are oriented as illustrated to the right.
How it works:
The CLIX No Bark Collar responds to both a combination of barking and slight vibration. It has been manufactured in such a way to ensure it does not respond to background audio stimuli and consequently miss-train your dog. To test the collar, you should blow vigorously into the microphone which will simulate both the noise and vibration.
For best results make collar as snug to the neck as possibleSee all Product description

I have an 8 month old Jackapoo & the collar that is supplied would be more suitable for a much larger dog, so I cut off the collar & using some cable ties attached the black box receiver to a more suitable sized collar.
The buttons on transmitter are very sensitive and it is very easy to accidentally press them, this is unfair on your dog and also wastes the life of the battery - Would have made sense if there had been an on/off switch included on the transmitter.
On a more positive note the device works well & my dogs obedience training has improved very quickly since using this product.
WARNING - After approx 5 days, while out walking I heard a loud popping sound & a strong vibration coming from the hand held transmitter that was in my hand. When I investigated by removing the battery cover I found that the cheap battery that was supplied had exploded & had split open revealing lots of small watch type batteries inside. Happy to say that after replacing the battery with a good quality battery the transmitter still worked :)
Replacement batteries can be purchased from Amazon: Twin Pack - 2 x Energizer A23 MN21 LRV08 GP23A 12v Alkaline batteries
Is easy to use and is best used on the manual setting as the auto setting activates the sound/vibration for a little too long for my liking.
Is better than "bark collars" as is only activated when you press the button, no activation by other dogs barking !
she will always come back as soon as she feels the vibrate didnt take her long to get used to it either
very lightweight and very easy to use
would recommed to anyone with a deaf dog
We didn't want to hurt her in anyway and really didn't like the thought of using an electric type so was delighted to find this as it only vibrates and makes a noise. Of course we tried on ourselves first to be sure and knew it would be fine.
Our first outing with it on was like all our dreams came true, we approached a dog on the opposite side of the road normally she would already be lunging, barking acting nuts but one press of the sound button as soon as she saw the other dog shocked her so much it went by without her thinking about it again, we instantly thought it can't of worked that quick so decided to look for more dogs which is totally what we avoided for the past year and half. Each time soon as she saw a dog and looked ready to bark a quick beep is all it took never used the vibrate option. It hasn't fixed her but helped her more than we ever thought possible dogs that are reactive are hard work and to be able to pass dogs on the same side of the road without a reaction or slight fur being raised is a fix enough for us. She was nervous of lots of things like bags, kids, birds and cats but again we use the noise option and it snaps her out of doing it she is much calmer now we still use it and now if we say beeper she knows to behave so although wearing it not actually using it. Of course you will get something jump out at you and she will go crazy so it comes in handy but because it startles her can be less successful so a vibrate usually stops it.Read more ›
