There is no excuse now for not knowing who was who or which battle took place where.
The book is well laid out, colourfully illustrated and easily accessible. Handy hints even include where to have a snack.
I recommend this book for all who will never have the time to investigate the Wars of the Roses in depth but would like to know enough to satisfy their curiosity and to understand what took place at all those little 'crossed swords' on the OS maps!
An excellent book to pick up and read as and when the need takes you, and full of interesting information. Definitely a book to keep and not give away later. I'm passing it on to my grandchildren who live in America so that they can take in a little of their English heritage.
