This is a most regreshing and satisfying commentary on the book of Psalms. It is a distortion of literary truth to describe the putitans as long and boring. This is a classic example of how succint and yet deeply satisfying many puritan writers are. Truly in the reformed/evangelical school of thought, with excellent application. It's a pity the church doesn't spend more time studying the puritans as opposed to much of what passes as 'biblical' these days!
