'A must-have for new dads'

(MADE Magazine)

'brilliant book'

(The Daily Telegraph)

This book is straight forward and written using down to earth words not long unpronounceable ones. After reading other books this is by far the best. As a serving soldier I found this book amusing as well and greatly detailed. With the army style instruction and links to video on the website any man will find what he needs. If I was to sum this book up in one word it's MEGA.

My husband bought this for himself in anticipation of our first baby and enjoyed reading it. I therefore bought this for a male friend whose wife is expecting. Especially good value because I got it for only £2! Great gift at this price!

Haven't put this down since it arrived! As a a first time dad (our baby trooper due May 2013) seen this book advertised and I'm so glad I bought it, as its now my "bible" and the wife loves it! I would recommend this book to any day's out there & have bought a couple more for mates and work colleagues.

Great for the basics. Some reviews say this is patronising, but I think that's only if your partner enthusiastically reads all the other books, otherwise I thought it was really well aimed. The information is exactly the same is in many other baby books - just presented in a different way. It's a bit brief so don't expect the finer detail but it's got the important stuff.

There never used to be a good guide book for new Dads; now there is. Well written, amusing and succinct, it's perfect for the busy Dad to be. All the gen without any of the fluff. Bravo Mr. Sinclair, I salute you (whilst holding a child correctly). Furthermore, men never discuss this stuff in any great detail, and we never ask either. Problem solved.

A straight forward read which strips right through the superfluous info found in most other daddy manuals. Loved the organisation, concise descriptions with checklist supports. Easy to absorb when under the 6 month countdown. Strongly recommended and great present for Friday-night-wingmen friends on the path to fatherhood.

A brilliant book that is not only an excellent read but really does help any new parent. Great layout, visuals and text, which helps you retain a sense of humour during the often very stressful first few weeks and months of parenting. It's often said that babies don't come with instruction manuals, well if they did this would be the one. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I have recently found out I am going to be a dad for the first time and straight away set out to read as much about it as I could.

This book is easy to read and gives extremely clear and simple instructions on how to deal with almost every daunting scenario I expect to be faced with as a new dad.

I can't recommend this book enough for soon to be new dads.
