Format: Hardcover
This is a smallish (8” x 6”) 83-page hardcover that delivers just what it says on the cover - it is a comic-strip history of space (and astronomy and space-travel), from the big bang through to today’s (or 2007’s anyway) space exploration and discoveries.

The pages are in a straightforward three-tier / two or three panels per tier format, with the occasional full or double-page spread. The style is a modern “British” children’s book cartoon - an entertaining-but-educational format - telling the genuine facts, mentioning real people and real discoveries - you will actually learn the real history and science from this.

I found it readable and factual, but only mildly entertaining - but I wasn’t sure if it was a children’s book or an adult novelty book. It certainly works as an entertaining children’s educational book, and adults can read it and learn too.

It is a good way of getting a child who is not much of a reader to take an interest in the subject.
