Pretty colours, especially the bronzey-gold for the eyelid. The words 'lid', 'brow' and ' crease' are pressed into the colours - great idea as an easy reminder. You get a tiny sponge applicator for lid/brow, and tiny narrow brush for the crease colour. They are quite fiddly, so I used my own after the first time.

The quality isn't that good. The lid colour (bronze), seemed to vanish almost to nothing very quickly, even after applying quite a lot. Conversely, it was hard not to drastically over-do the dark brown shade, because just one tiny swipe of the brush picks up loads of fine, easily-shed, dense pigmented-powder. Even after tapping the brush vigorously, I ended up with blotchy, grubby-looking eyes despite wiping it off and starting again thee times.

The shadow on my lid started settling into creases very quickly, and after a couple of hours looked like it had been on for about 24 hours. Just for your info, I don't have this problem with most eye shadows.

However, when I tried applying my own eyelid primer first, the bronze shadow did stand out better, and lasted well. I have given up on the brown crease shadow though.

If you use a lid-primer, this is worth a go, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Wet n Wild Colour Icon Eye Shadow is another very wearable palette of eyeshadows from this very trendy and even more up-to-date company. I love how they put the label on each eyeshadow where it would look best positioned and blended properly around the upper eye area, and as always they provide an eyeshadow which can be used as an eyeliner or for definition.
The colours within this palette are very wearable and can be used for both day and night, it simply takes a different level of colour to be used on and around the eye area.
I am very happy to recommend Wet n Wild Colour Icon Eyeshadow as once again the company have developed a first class product at a great price.

This is s lovely set and I think for people like me that struggle to get those stunning effects of blended eye colours, making a set that tells you exactly which colour to use where, is genius.
I still struggled with it though and found that using the three colours as directed the effect was more rainbow than catwalk. Perhaps I just need more practice.
I did however, find that the pink and the dark brown together worked well, with the pink inner and the dark brown outer,
And similarly the gold inner with the dark brown outer looked lovely.
On that basis, I love this set as I can get two good looks out of it, just need to persevere with blending all 3 together.

Nice triple eyeshadow palette with a brush and foam applicator included abd guidance of browbone, crease and eyelid on the shadow to help with application. It's an inexpensive kit but the colours compliment each other and will tone with any eye colour! I especially like the goldy bronze colour with my blue eyes.
I found it difficult to remove the 'security' seal , eventually resorting to cutting with a small blade !
Found it easy to apply and blend but the shadow was not very long lasting , was enough for a night out but would need to reapply if wearing in daytime.

A good combination set for the summer months but you need a light touch with the deep brown crease colour. They have a shimmer to them and the pink on the brow is particularly effective. I wear a lot of rusts and dusky pinks so the colour palette appealed but I found that I needed to work hard to blend effectively if you go in too hard. too soon. The eye make up lasted reasonably well with only a little gathering in the creases. I think it will be particularly strong when you have a suntan so I'll be packing if for my holidays!!

The powder was lovely to apply, extremely soft and went on like a dream using the two free brushes provided. The reason I'm only giving the set 3 stars is because the pink is really garish and I'm not sure how it's supposed to all link together in reality. The gold and light brown look beautiful, but the pink added with them made me look like a dolly. I just find it a bizarre colour combination, but I will use each of them individually. I have other sets by Wet n Wild and they're all the same good value.

Colour: Don't Steal My Thunder Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I think there are some colours that everyone needs to have, and these are some of them: this product has all you need to make an icy, smokey eye: three shadows with instructions for where to apply them pressed into the powder, complete with two eyeshadow brushes. Fabulous! With this in mind, I had a go. The powder is lovely and silky, and applies easily. It doesn't take much to build up the colour either. I wouldn't say it's long lasting, unless you use a base, but it's a lovely product. Cheap, too!

I think I've got most of the sets in this range now, and I love them because they make it so easy to blend the right colours together, and they're all there together in one palette.
Easy to apply, smooths onto my eyelids without creasing or dragging and blends well.
Have only dropped one star, because the colours in this one don't seem to last a full day.
Would be fine for an evening out but just not quite long-lasting enough for a 9-hour shift at work
