Product description

From the Back Cover

Published in association with The Blue Cross, one of Britain's top animal welfare societies, this essential handbook for all responsible dog owners has many step-by-step photographs to help you develop a good relationship with your dog.

Gwen Bailey believes that the first step to having a well-behaved dog is for the owner to fully understand the dog's behaviour – only then can you learn to communicate effectively with your pet and create a successful partnership. Contents include:
• Preventing and solving problem behaviour
• Step-by-step obedience exercises
• How to make your dog really clever
• Talking and listening to your dog
• How to be a good owner
