A filter-holder cap is particularly useful for all those who wish to leave permanently the filter-holder on the lens. This adaptable cover slides into the narrow slot nearest the filter-holder housing thus perfectly protecting the camera lens.

a) getting hold of these; and
b) getting them at a suitable price like this.
My main issue is why the Cokin P Adapters don't actually come with this cap as standard! I assume it's to get more money.
Cokin engineers (if the product is genuine) have really got it wrong here!
The P252 cap does not fit the P-adapter. It will NOT go into place. It leaves a gap opening at the bottom due to the tabs design. Cokin should know better! I will keep the stupid cap because it offers some protection and because I will keep the evidence to show my friends. I cannot recommend this product and score it as low as possible. If you are good with your hands and use Cokin filters you can make a more intelligent and efficient protective cap using simple school materials such as cardboard and glue! Cokin: you should be embarrassed! Seller: Pull this product off your shelve!
On the standard holder, the cap fits perfectly. One reviewer says there is a gap between the cap and the lens, but I don't think there is a discernable gap. If you put the cap in the nearest slot (the one that normal filters won't fit in, which is for the polarising filters) it fits leaving no gap at all (as far as I can tell).
So it is ideal for just leaving the filter holder on the lens permanently, using this as the lens cap.
With the wide holder, however, the cap doesn't go all the way down. That said, it is is still adequate (for a lens with a 67mm filter size anyway) and - presumably - may fit better on the official cokin version.
All in all a great purchased.
