Yes another superb book from Dilly Court! Once again the reader is transported back to Victorian London with such vivid descriptions you can almost smell the grime and struggles of the average Londoner... A real page turner and yet another Dilly Court book that is difficult to put down!

I have read e and enjoyed every book thay Dilly Court has written, and reading about Irene and her snooty sister Emmie was a pleasure. I cannot wait for the next book by Dilly Court. I also read the same author under the name of Lily Baxter

Cockney Angel had me captured from the first page. Irene Angel holds the family together whilst her father gambles all his money away. Leaving the family without food and coal to heat their flat above the shop they run. Full of ups and downs a real east end treat through the eyes of Dilly Court based in Victorian London.

I ordered this book which arrived only a few days after i placed the order. I as always arrived well packed and in excellent condition. I always use Amazon when ordering books and many other products and have never yet been disappointed with anything i have ordered.
I have not yet started this book as it was one of several books i ordered on the same day. I do know from reading other books from this author that it will be worth the wait

Absolutely loved this book. Dilly Court never fails to deliver excellent stories, believable characters. I feel as if I know everyone personally. I can hardly wait to turn the pages to see what happens next. I recommend this book and every other book written by this great author.

This book was loaned to me, and what a loan. I was hooked on it from the first chapter. You really found yourself involved with the charactors. and there are good and bad. Some parts were a bit "oh no, that is soooo far fetched" but you can forgive the Ms Court for that, she writes such great tales. If you are not sure - give this book a try. I am looking forward to borrowing the other books now!!!
