Whether you're familiar with The Leadership Challenge or the Five Practices, this coaching guide is very useful. I used it as reference prior to several coaching sessions I've conducted. Lots of good practical coaching tips.

I had the opportunity to review and use the A Coach's Guide to Developing Exemplary Leaders with at a Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) training seminar. This is a great companion to the discussion and action items in the 5th Edition. There is also a reasonably thorough section about coaching, and how to coach your client while debriefing the LPI results. My only complaint is that the text is a little pricey, so you'll have to weigh the cost-benefit.
