Coach Love (The Love Brothers Book 2) Liz CroweReview from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance.
A bad choice on my part. It sounded great, a romance with some humour, and for me a much needed HEA. I hate ones that just drift off unfinished as far as the romance goes, so I was really looking forward to this. From an early stage though it became clear to me I wasn’t going to like this. I found the characters shallow and obsessed with sex, even while professing to be deeply in love with someone else. The constant cheating was hard to take. Its not like they were really drawn to each other so much that it was an impulse, a moment they just couldn’t help however much they fought against it, more it was done without any thought for the consequences, just a quick bang regardless of consequences. What really finished me though was the lack of condom use, even given the pregnancy issues the other brothers have had, and the resulting dramas, plus the fact that each of them knew their partners were also cheating, and yet Still didn’t use condoms. A really unsafe message to pass on in this day and age IMO.....
I didn’t like the characters, didn’t get the humour – looking back I’m not sure where the humour was supposed to have happened? I could have liked Cara and Kieran, I understood why they split after being childhood sweethearts, but their actions now as supposed adults were irresponsible and thoughtless of others feelings. I wasn’t keen on the issues around Dominic either, maybe sadly true to life in rural old fashioned areas and families, but it still made me uncomfortable for him, and saddened that he was treated that way.
Stars: Two, just didn’t like the characters or their actions enough. That’s just my view though and of course there are many others that love this novel.

Not sure what the two star reviewer meant about the cheating issue, the author is clear in the blurb what to expect. In real life, people do cheat. They get drunk, make bad decisions. This series is panning out in an excellent fashion, the characters are real, true to life, and flawed. Read this series, it's damn good.

Second story in the Love Brothers series, and I totally Loved it. The story took full turn and kept me intrigued til the end, when Kieren and Cara got their HEA. But what about Dominic.

HASH(0x9f5b8948) out of 5 stars outstanding series, totally love the love family 5 Jan. 2015
By Cyn - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
WOW I just do not know what to say, Liz sure throw a twist in this book. I never saw that coming. Just goes to show you when you think you know a character you need to think again. I totally loved this book, it is so touching and heartbreaking. Liz puts a twist on her stories that are so unlike anything I have ever read. This poor family just keeps getting hit with more pain than it can take.

Kieran comes home with his tail between his legs trying to start over from losing his job, his women (that no one liked anyway) to find he still has feeling for his high school sweetheart that dumped him. Things are about to get very completed not only for Kieran but for Cara, Melinda, Kent and Dominic. The saying goes Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive! Each have secrets that are about to come to a head that can’t be hidden any long. Oh there is going to be fall out, pieces broken, hearts torn apart and love lost before it is all said and done. The question is who will be left standing and who will be with whom?

Kieran is strong but has a fear of being alone and feels he needs a woman to hold. Melinda just isn’t doing it for him. She has a big secret which will make Kieran finally walk away from her. The question is will he stay away and what about this pull he has for Cara, can he make things right with her or should he leave her alone to marry Kent?

Cara is a strong will woman who left Kieran after high school wanting to sew a few wild oats before she settled down. In walks Kent they are days away from being married when his secret comes out. He swears it is nothing and he will walk a straight line, he loves her more and will do right by her. Can he keep this promise and can Cara stay out of the Kieran arms long enough to say I do?

I am sure you are asking where Dominic come in all this mess, well just take it from me his has a VERY BIG secret that will tear his family apart. It will put father against son and maybe brother against brother. Can love stay in this family and bring it back as a whole or will all the secrets finally tear the Love Family apart?

Liz in her unique style makes you laugh, want to cry, leave you with your mouth hung open saying OOOOHHHH my god as she spins a tale of a family barely holding it together trying to find their way in life with many bumps along the way. I have totally loved the entire Love Brothers series, I have to say this is the best one yet. Each are unique and worth the read as Liz tells it like it is with a complicated family who is just putting one foot in front of the other as they make a mess of their lives as they try to bring it around to live another day hopefully with the person they love.

Liz has an easy style of writing a complicated life, her words flow easy and she draws you into the life of her characters. She gives you a page turn that her readers will not want to put down. She never leaves you behind but pulls you forward as she writes a story of pain, heartbreak with love. You never know who her characters will end up with until the end. It has a wonderful happy ending but is sad at the same time. Liz you did a wonderful outstanding job I totally loved this story.

HASH(0x9f5c04bc) out of 5 stars Unique new series of love, heartbreak, family, and finding new paths 5 Jan. 2015
By Lisa Z - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I was provided an early reader copy of this book and I am so happy that other readers will have the opportunity to fall in love with the characters and the locale. After reading the first book, ‘Love Garage’ and now this second book, I am truly invested in the characters.

Liz Crowe has a tremendous talent with character development and she is able to make the reader love/hate the characters, feel the love, loss, sadness, happiness, and realistic issues on life decisions that people have to deal with so often.

I love this story of 4 brothers and a ‘baby’ sister, along with strong willed parents. I enjoy reading about Kentucky, the horses, the brewing company, and I love that the family gathers for lunch on Sunday’s. Afterwards, there is an all-out war type of basketball game between the brothers and no one leaves without at least a bruise or more. Of the four sons there is the oldest one who watches over everyone, the second is the athlete and peacemaker, the third is the bad boy with various issues and works in the brewery, and the baby brother who spent many years in higher education and becoming a writer.

Kieran is the second son and the peacemaker. There are a lot of changes with his career and love life and I empathized with his pain and trying to find his way.

This series is different from other Liz Crowe books and where a broader range of readers would enjoy the stories. With the sons, you have the love, loyalty, fighting, and competition. The parents who are still in love with each other but Mama Love does not put up with much, so the husband and sons know to watch out! There are several side characters that the boys date/marry, some scorching hot sexy times, and an overall addicting storyline. You can’t help wanting to read more about the brothers and the Love family. Liz provides a HEA, even though it might not be the one you expect.

I look forward to reading the next story, ‘Love Brewing’ which focuses more on Dominic and I can already tell that he is a heartbreaker. I highly recommend this book, this series, along with Liz’s numerous other books. I’ve read more than a dozen of her books and she never fails to draw you into the character’s lives, feel their emotions, and provides some twists that you don’t expect.

HASH(0xa8cee5f4) out of 5 stars Rolling Stars 5 Jan. 2015

I was given this book for my honest review

This is the second book in the Love Brothers Series.

As a young child we were often anticipating the changes of the seasons. The warmth coming in is the slow sign that summer is coming near. The changes of the leaves we all look forward to fall. The ever loving singing of the birds showed us spring was coming. Let’s not forget the first chill in the air warning that winter would be near.

Cara-pretty, smart and nervous

Kieran-hunky, scared

Kent-hunky and reserved

Dominic-hunky, hidden

Cara is the woman that knows what she wants out of life but is a bit reserved when it comes right down to voicing exactly what she wants and feels. This makes her an awesome catch. Frightened at times with the past lurking in the forefront can she find her way to bring the past and the future together as one? Will she keep her fears hidden or will she voice them to the world?

Kieran is the guy that every woman wants to be with. He is hunky and knows it. But what his heart truly desires is the one that got away or has she? Can he dig deep within his heart to let the fears out and go after his true heart? Can he finally have his happily ever after?

Kent is a successful lawyer that has a hidden desire that he keeps close to his heart. Even though he is with the one that he loves dearly his heart has another heart trapped within his that truly wants to come to the forefront. Will he keep the one he loves dear or will he finally be able to let his true heart out and let it become one with the truest of hearts?

Cara and Kieran were childhood loves circumstances and choices forced them apart. Seeing one another after such a long time it’s like their hearts have never been apart. Both committed to someone else and seeing one another is hard on them both. Their hearts however never seem to falter the magnetic force between their two hearts is so strong that each of them know that their forever hearts will always be one. Can these two loves along with the magnetic force bring them to find their forever with each other?

What about Kent? Will he be able to go through with his commitment with one or will he allow his true heart to lead him to the one his heart holds dear?

Dominic has a hidden secret that one only knows which he is determined not to reveal but when his heart gets involved will he be able to follow it or look away forever?

To the author: One amazing read that had this reviewer on the edge of her seat from page 1 and never let go till the final page was complete. You have such a gift when throwing sweet twists in when you least expect it. In the end however again you floored me to best. I was surprised and flabbergasted during this entire read. Thank you for allowing me the honor in reading this great expectation and blowing it all out of the water in all a good way.

To the readers: Please expect the unexpected cause at every page you will be surprised you will never actually know where these characters are going to the very last page. You will be in tears at some points and screaming at the characters on the next page but in the end you will be in awe.

Happy Reading

HASH(0x9f5d4714) out of 5 stars Fall in love with Kieren! 6 Jan. 2015
By Escape Reality with Books - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Yet again Liz Crowe has given us a flawed male character that I haven't overly liked at the beginning, but she has managed to make me like the arrogant, scarred Kieren by the end.

This seems to be a reoccurring fad for this series. Her characters are far from perfect and even if you don't agree with some of their characteristics, she makes you get over that with her well written POV from the male’s perspective.

Watching him struggle through his first marriage was hard work and I hated his wife, which made the female lead Cara more attractive in comparison.

Liz Crowe is back to her best with this book and I look forward to more!

HASH(0x9f5d48c4) out of 5 stars Great addition to the series! 5 Jan. 2015

I was lucky enough to get a preview copy of this story in exchange for honest feedback, although I did purchase the official release because I liked it enough. :)

Just like the first in the series, Love Garage, I loved this book. Kieran is a lovable guy who's down on his luck and is still figuring out what he wants. There were funny scenes, hot scenes, and scenes that got my emotions all twisted (wouldn't be a Liz book without lol!). The ending was a surprise and made me happy. Dying to read the next in the series now, although you can definitely read Coach Love as a stand-alone (you'll go back and get the whole set, trust me!). The whole family is present in Coach Love, but if you haven't read the first book, you'll still be fine.
