I CRIED CUPCAKES, OREOS AND 🍦 FOR CO-WRECKER!!

Andrew and Sadie are my favourite couple of Meghan Quinn by a mile! I love them ❤ ❤

“He’s a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don’t let men like him slip through your fingers.”

I laughed so much during this book. Could not put it down. Andrew and Sadie’s banter and attraction was sizzling.

Sadie‘s past has drastically changed her perception of the world and her vision of the future. She can count the number of friends she has on one hand and she is happy with that. She has no plans to change her routine or her life.
Until Andrew, the sexy NERD guy who is going to be making ice creams by her side for the summer.
Andrew likes everybody, and everybody likes Andrew …. Except for Sadie!
Andrew wants to be her friend and even more but he knows that it will not be easy to make this happen .

” I’ve never come across a person who doesn’t like me. I’m a likeable, funny guy. Yes, I may have a collection of calculators in my small closet right now, and yes, I tend to find computers and robots fascinating, but that isn’t a black mark on my personality”

Sadie is like the ice queen, she has built walls around her to protect herself and has no intention to let Andrew crawl his way in. Until one night…. one kiss and many laughs and it all changed.

“You know that laugh of yours, the one you so annoyingly keep hidden? You should really use it more often because it can brighten some of the darkest of days.”

I loved the main characters- Sadie was spunky, and confident on one hand, and vulnerable and fragile on the other hand. Even with all insecurities, she is a strong heroine.

5 Stars!

Ahhh I loved this book!

Sadie did not have the best childhood, and the past year has been traumatic so she tries to hide her true feelings behind her friends and her attitude.

Andrew is what you would consider a nerd, he has a box of calculators and loves learning. After an incident at his old university he transfers to Binghamton and decides to move into his new house early and get a job for the summer.

On Andrew’s first day on the job he meets Sadie and is instantly attracted to her but it is pretty obvious she tries to push any new attention away. He then decides to try and get her to laugh and smile more by being his normal charming self.

Andrew and Sadie grow close and he starts to knock down some of her walls but she is still keeping things from her past from him. When he finds out everything blows up in Sadie’s face. Can she get over her past and stop hiding away from who she really is? Can Andrew ever forgive her for not fully opening up to him?

This book was funny, sweet and filled with a sexy nerd! Meghan is the Queen of rom-coms and I cannot wait for more books from her.

Well crap!! I could kick myself right now!! I stupidly read My Best Friends Ex before this one... Yep it's a mistake i wish i hadn't made.

This is a story about Sadie. She's down in the dumps and in a dead end job. Lots of things have happened to her in her short life and she's nearly given up. At Friendly's the restaurant where she works she's forced to train the new guy on the ice cream counter. Enter the bubbly happy go lucky Andrew.

Andrew's got his first real job for the summer before he starts school in the fall. He see's Sadie. All of her. He see's the darkness within and decides he's going to be the one to get rid of it!

I really really enjoyed Andrew! He's so fun and full of life you can't help liking him! When you add the sexy geeky part and his massive cannon *male appendage* it all equals HOT HOT HAWT!!! He's also very sweet funny and just all over wonderful!!

I loved them together, the way they both bring out the best in each other is fantastic to read. The lovin scenes are absolutely fab and well... shall we say hugely enjoyable!! There's also some really side splitting funny scenes!! The motorboating keeps replaying in my head! And it's not just the main characters. Smilly and Saddlemire had me in stitches, the bib scene especially.

The only but i have is this, and my reason for kicking myself for reading it in the wrong order... I wasn't over struck on Sadie. My heart ached for her it really did and i thought she was funny but i think my view of her was tainted slightly because i fell in love with her ex Tucker who is the mc in My Best Friends Ex... i kinda blamed her for him being unhappy because i didn't know the back story fully and this spoilt it slightly for me. So here's a MASSIVE WARNING!!

I thought this was an enjoyable, entertaining and engaging story. That was lighthearted, easy to read and had very little in the way of angst. It also had plenty of fun moments, even a couple of laugh out loud ones and all the characters were very likable. Although I did find some of their nicknames a little strange but overall I did think the actual story was good and I'm sure fans of the author will really enjoy it too.
