This is positively the best 80s CD I have ever bought. Many only contain one CD of songs you have actually heard of or even remember and the rest are album fillers by obscure groups. NOT this CD, it has every cheesy 80s song you could want and comes affliated with Reflex, so you know you're going to get some good tunes. I would reccomend this to anyone. Slap on your headband and leg warmers and get ready for the nostalgia to begin.

This is likely to be music for everyone! Clubs were still safe places, music had variety, and songs some became household names. This is probably one of the best CD's released in a very long time, as all the family can listen to it. It's not often my parents by buy CD's these days, but my mum always has this on now! Long live the 80's!

There are so many 1980s compilations out there that you could probably open up you're own shop devoted to them - and there will be so many more to come. However, this new three-CD box is a particularly very good one, and actually includes an almost even combination of pop and rock, and all the songs I was able to instantly recognise, so no fillers.

This box really does live up to it's name and captures the club scene in the 1980s, featuring the megahits that everyone was listening and dancing around to. Cheese fest songs like Kyle's 'I Should Be So Lucky' and Toni Basil's 'Hey Mickey' aren't my cup of tea, but they were very much in the spirit of the decade, and you can't have a fair retrospective without them. Some cheese I do love, including teenage heartbreaker Tiffany's chart-topping 'I Think We're Alone Now', Diana Ross' gay-anthem (for shame!) 'I'm Coming Out' and good old Rick Ashley's immortal 'Never Gonna Give You Up', yes, we all have our guilty little pleasures don't we.

There's also a good handful of soft rock anthems like Survivor's signature tune 'Eye of the Tiger', Robin Beck's power-ballad 'First Time', Aerosmith's collaboration with Run D.M.C' on 'Walk This Way', and 'The Final Countdown' by Sweden's finest rockers Europe. With other biggies by names such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Bonnie Tyler and A-ha to name just four - how can you go wrong with 'Club 80s'? A first-rate compilation, and the compilers should pat themselves on the back.

Can not believe all the 5 star reviews of this cd, yes the music is great but the recording is apalling. im not a music aficianado who serches for all those re-mastered cds, theres no bass on the recording just midrange and treble.if u have a proper seperates system your ears will bleed, mine went straight in the bin.ive ordered beverly hills cop ost to get axel f theme tune and will try and buy original artist releases in the future.
