This was a surprisingly gripping page turner! The story is epic in scale, but it never loses its sense of adventure and fun. What I loved the most though when reading this book was the world building. The author has created a rich and fascinating world that clearly has many mysterious yet to explore. The next book will definitely be in my must read list!

A sci-fi story where the characters are everyday people in a future world. The action starts immediately and continues throughout, with settings well described allowing your imagination to create the 'Cloudgazer's' world. A very enjoyable read.

I started reading this book at bedtime but soon discovered it was worthy of a bit more attention that 5 minutes before falling asleep so I started it again and spent some winter afternoons reading instead. It look a while to integrate the Cloudgazer world but once I was into the story I loved it ! Looking forward to book 2 !

The brilliant storytelling by Alex is superb. Kiy Tanthar is the vagrant 'cloudgazer' in question and this is the briliant story of his adventures to ....well I'm telling you the plot - no spoilers!
I just love the way Alex describes each character, each action and each part of the story with excitement and with such enthusiasm!
Well Done so much, Alex! A spectacular read!
