Not the best Blu-ray box-set, but to tell you the truth am just happy to have them all on Blu-ray, plus I can't complain about the price, and all the Blu-rays picture quality look very nice. So for me worth every penny.

There are subtitles for the hard of hearing and the sound is in DTS but the big negative is there are no bonus features.

All films except one doesn't star Mr Eastwood and that is 'BREEZY' which was directed by Mr Eastwood.

All in a all great price for eight films but could of been so much better, ie a bonus disc for features or a collectors booklet.

This set makes out at about £5 per film. Every title is great quality. Ratios are 1.85:1 and 2.35:1.
Can't see these movies getting better than this. Had the dvd set and this is a huge step up from those.
Go ahead and buy you will not regret.

I can't wait to finally have all Clint's movies he did at Universal. Even though I already own a few of these on Blu-ray, I will quite happily buy the box just for the others to add to my collection, I can always sell my double-ups on ebay later.

Just a note regarding the German edition that is also coming out around the same time, IT IS NOT THE SAME as the UK edition.
The German edition only contains six films, it is missing "Coogan's Bluff" and "High Plains Drifter" for some reason.

Hopefully the price of the UK box will drop nearer the release date.

At £25 this set is a good deal but I can't help but feel disappointed that there are no bonus features. Bar the odd trailer there's nothing so the 50 minute documentary included on the dvd of Play Misty for Me is nowhere to be seen. Typical Universal corner cutting again. They can usually be relied upon to make the most promising releases a bit of a letdown
