I bought this after my baby (from 1 year onwards) enjoyed Anthomy Browne's 'My Dad' - she loves reading it with her own daddy and requests it every day. She also liked this book, as did my husband, but I'm not as keen, I just think the words and illustrations are not as inventive or rich as Browne's book.

If you're looking for a dad book, I'd go for 'My Dad' - it's a classic, humorous and touching. This one is OK but nothing special.

Our children love the story and illustrations because they identify with the characters. It is easy to understand for the youngest children and introduces them to the fun they can get from the words as well as the pictures. It is a firm favourate for bedtime reading.

I would give this book 10/10, the kids love it, it's one of their favourite books. It is accessible for both young children and even slightly older ones. Perfect!!

My son was 2 when we gave this book to his daddy for Christmas. It's my son's favourite for his dad to read to him. The book depicts all the things that my husband does with our son and Ethan (our son) refers to phrases in the book at times when he and his dad are doing things together.
The rhythm and rhyme of the book is very nice. The illustrations are lovely.
Great for any child and his/her daddy!

Lovely book. My daddy's very clever he's a very clever man. You can act along with the book and swirl little one over your head and be a lion and jump out at them. We have read this so many times. I read it and then daddy creeps up to be the lion. Lots of laughter with this
