The entire book contains just five comprehension tests. The questions are much too simple for key stage two, and most of them are tantamount to asking children to repeat or copy out parts of the text rather than a genuine test of their ability to understand the subtleties of the texts. Many are merely grammatical matching exercises and not comprehensions questions at all. There is far more emphasis on teaching basic grammar and punctuation than genuine comprehension.
It takes considerable skill to compose truly searching comprehension questions, which is why I decided to buy a few books for teaching purposes, but this one is so superficial, brief and badly thought out that I could, without a doubt, have bashed out a better one in one afternoon.
The texts contain a number of layout errors (for example a poem has two and sometimes four lines conflated into one, without a space between two words on p.21) and there are grammatical errors in some of the questions ("onomatopoeia word" rather than "onomatopoeic word" on p.14 for example) and examples (e.g. "She checked it up in the dictionary" p. 33).
Whilst the cover is appealing, you could not make the appearance of the inside of this book more boring if you tried.
