Cleveland Way Map/Guide

The map/guide is very useful, with the guide wording helping when doubts about the map arise. A friend and I are doing the Cleveland Way a bit at a time and this guide has the whole route conveniently spread over the various pages. There are mileage markers to help you work distances, campsites, hotels, car parks, relief detail, place names, roads, POIs, and the whole thing folds away into a plastic map pouch. I would have given it 5 stars but I couldn't see how you could work out waypoints for GPS as there doesn't seem to be enough information on the map for that. I'd still recommend it though as the trail paths are usually very obvious and the map/guide merely prevents you taking a wrong fork on the pathway.

The map is not what i expected. Its difficult to follow the trail. Its a thin red line which is not always easy to
follow on the map. The only advantage i can mention that its easy to carry into the backpack
