Positive Things - It all in all looks absolutely amazing. You can see inside the controller. All pieces were included in the picture and nothing missing and there is a lot of little things that could be missed but wasn't. If the item had screws that fit and the case could click together tightly like the Microsoft controller casing could then I would consider this item to be perfect.
One thing that I would say about this product is that it should come with some instructions on how to take apart and reassemble.
While I did manage to look it up on Youtube, some written instructions and diagrams would be a big help to some people im sure.
Especially saying where all the screws are, as I almost broke the controller trying to take it apart as I didn't know there was a hidden screw behind the barcode within the battery area.
The part which holds the LB and RB buttons couldn't be used as the Reconnect button was useless and wouldn't come back up after being pushed down. so I had to recycle the black part off of the original case.
No complaints from me, as it looks good with a bit of black on the top :P
one thing I find annoying with it, is the directional buttons, as they are not as solid as before and wriggle around when you brush against them, while still working, its just one thing that annoys me while in use.
One of the analogue sticks had a layer of some sort of glue and I had to spend some time trying to scrap it off in order for it to fit and work properly.
The light from the Xbox logo looks really cool as it floods the rest of the controller and looks even better in the dark.
My friends are jealous and im very happy with it regardless of all the small imperfections. End result, looks really good and worth the Hassle.
I Would recommend to anyone wanting to customise their gaming experience.
The tools are a bit hard to use but if you just get a bit of cloth or use your shirt for extra grip you should have no troubles screwing and unscrewing everything.
Overall when its all screwed up tight and you follow the guidelines the end result is pretty good! It feels solid, theres no cracks or anything that changes how it feels, infact in my opinion it improves it over the standard controller and sticks, looks great too and for about £6 you can't argue with that, i've read reviews where someone dropped it and it smashed, however i felt the build was pretty good, i've dropped it from about 3ft a few times to test that out and its fine, just be sure to use a step by step guide and make sure your screws are as tight as can be, if they're loose i can see how it could cause it to smash apart but over all i highly rate this shell, i'll probably pick up another for my other controller.
