Claudette Walker is an author, who lives quietly on Florida's scenic west coast with her husband, an attorney and daughter. Her travels have carried her from the small Midwest town she left as a flower child to San Francisco's drug-filled Haight Ashbury district. After abandoning the shores of San Francisco, she spent time with the powerful men of the American government in Washington, D.C. Later, she lived in New York's upper West Side. Claudette even found time to discover the beauty of the white-collar criminal's haven, Costa Rica.
Her interest in politics, law, and the ways of the powerful became the inspiration for her novels. Most recently she has co-author with her daughter the true crime story of a mother tried in America for the murder of her toddler. This book is a look at the complete trial in real time by two authors and the American judicial system which rendered a not guilty verdict.
Her works include, "To Love The Rose (Is Washington Stoned?)" a look at the world of sex drugs and politics, "C STREET" the political conspiracy the that has taken the readers and reviewers by storm. "The Casey Anthony Murder Trial" co-authored with Matrix Filia, a look at a real American murder trial.
