Volume 6 is the conclusion to the USA Transformers comic series, which, by the end has been almost completely taken over by the UK based office, which draws the main story arc to an epic conclusion, which (as is typical of Simon Furman) contains a lot of characters dying...A LOT! The very ‘human-like’ facial animation of the characters is much more prominent in this issue as well as opposed to the original toy-like animation of the first few volumes.
This volume also features the four part ‘Headmasters’ strip which, as is typical of this comic, contradicts the G1 cartoon series’ explanation for their origin and again improves on it and adds a little more depth and more intrigue especially to the older reader.
The collection ends with a comic strip version of the 1986 Transformers Move, which is basically exactly the same as the film, apart from it obviously being in comic strip form. It doesn’t really add anything to this collection and differs very little from the original movie (barring a few examples such as Ultra Magnus’s ‘Death’ – taken from the original film script I believe) and almost feels like its been thrown in as a filler. But on the whole, a great closer to the original comic’s run and essential for the die hard G1 fan.

I like Transformers: Classics Volume 6! This is a great volume full of wonderful Transformers Stories by Fan Favorite UK writer Simon Furman. I like the artwork by comic book artists, Jose Delbo, Geoff Senior, and Andrew Wildman! Marvel Comics Transformers #65-76 are re-published in this Transformers paperback by IDW Publishing. These are the original Marvel comics Transformers issues #65-76 from the early 1990s. It is the End of the Matrix Quest, The Arrival of Unicron, Edge of Extinction and All Fall Down! I Highly Recommend this Transformers paperback.A+++++

if your looking at transformers classic Vol. 6 than you probably have the other five and need to get this.

that being said this is the classic near conclusion of the original transformer series. my only real complaint is the last 4 issues are not in this compilation and as of yet I haven't found them on any e-device.

The final volume in this series of collections. It is chock full of entertainment and a great opportunity to read stories that are hard to find. If you love Transformers, you should consider this title.
