There are two DVD's in the series of 50 and 60's music clips. The first in the series however is marked by a poor quality transfer to DVD. But the second DVD in the series is much better quality wise and is watchable and more useful for the general public to watch than the first, which is only for die hard fans.
As with the first all the music clips are taken from USA and Canada TV entertainment shows. The vast majority on the disc are from the first half of the 60's. Including the Four Seasons singing Big Girls Don't Cry and Petula Clark singing Downtown, plus The Turtles, Millie Small, The Angels, Marty Robbins and Bobby Vee. These will be familiar to anyone from the UK. Together with eight other acts that only will be known if you followed the USA charts of the period.
Though advertised on the cover of the DVD as in stereo, most of the tracks seem to be the original TV sound so I doubt that any are stereo!
Though the picture quality is better than the first, back in those times the standard was not even up to the quality you will see on Top of The Pops of the 70's. But that's what you get!

AS someone who has accumulated music DVD's over the last 12 years I've come to expect some are not going to be "not so good" when it comes to picture quality but for the most they are watchable, this 50 & 60 Vol.2 however is a whole new meaning to "not so good", it's that bad that I only got half way through the DVD and threw it in the bin, it's that bad. The reason is I already had Neil Sedaka's Calender Girl on another DVD and know what the quality should be like, the same Neil Sedaka video/version is on this DVD, and the quality is as faraway from my other DVD as is technically possible (late 1970s VHS was better quality).

Then's there's the text intro's to each song, I've seen better looking text created on a ZX80 back in 1980.

This is worst picture quality music DVD I've ever bought, and I can not recommend it in any way, I normally don't do reviews on Amazon but I don't want someone else making the same mistake I made.
