I bought this to make sure Amiga OS content continues to get supported and get made even in the year 2020. So I'm happy to buy it at almost any price.
But, the print quality of this book was awful. The paper is like sandpaper, and had weird chemical stain blotches on many of the pages. The book feels like it was printed in 1990 and might fall apart at any time. Frankly I'd rather just pay for an ebook version.
As for the content, it's as good as or better than any that's been written since the great Guru book by Ralph Babel, covering all the basics, and it's up to date with the tools that are available now rather than say, SAS/C. But there was never a book written to cover OS3 and up, and this isn't it either so I hope he does a volume 2 covering that and maybe a volume 3 on OS4 as well. It seems strange to write a new book in 2019, and cover material that is already well served by the SDK content and old ROM kernel manuals, rather than spend the effort on topics that have never been covered before.

Pretty good reference guide to programming on the Amiga, a lot of this is freely available but its great to have it all in one place and hard to knock another still supporting Amiga, look forward to any follow up that may come
