Noooo, I just finished this book and want to know what happens now but the next book hasn't been published yet!

Nathan's Grand Mother is dead and it feels like his family is falling apart. His Grand Father disappears but then returns, with a complete character change, to the point that Nathan doubts his sanity. Nathan wants his uncle Byron to take charge but he seems reluctant to. His cousin reappears and Nathan is unsure as to whether to trust him. Amelia is suffering from disturbing dreams that she believes to be more than they seem. She is also plagued with awful headaches.

The one constant in Nathan's turbulent life is Perdy. The curse brought them together (in the book "Verity", Cursed book 1) and he finds their mutual physical attraction mounting, despite the fact that their world is spiralling out of control.

Perdy is plagued by doubts. She is unhappy with how the wolves have taken over her life in such a short period of time, especially when a loved one is attacked. She is worried about Nathan. When she met him he was gentle and mild-mannered. However, he is starting to show a darker, more fiery side that she doesn't like. That she is a little afraid of.

Betrayals and unexpected alliances, love and passion, doubts and confusion. This Y.A book is another great read from Claire Farrell and the only disappointing part was the fact that I couldn't immediately start reading book 3!!!

I love how I can just get totally lost in Claire's books. This second installent is all action packed & be warned ends on a cliff hanger that will leave you shouting NO at your kindle as the next book isn't out till 2013!!! We get to know the main characters more & become very invested in Perdita's & Nathan's relationship. You also start to warm to other members of Nathan's family & hate the big bad Vin even more! Not as much romance in this one, but the moments there are, are very sweet & leave you all warm & fuzzy inside. Won't give anything away, except to say, you'll be on tender hooks waiting (like me) for number 3 to be released!! An excellent book, in it's own right, but a bloody brilliant second in the cursed series!!

I felt quite lucky that I was able to read Clarity the day after reading Verity, so I didn't have the agonising wait between books. Yet, now I find myself desperate for the third book. I also cannot wait to get my hands on Adversity (Cursed #2.5).

This book felt much broader than the first, the concepts were much more complex and the characters really developed. It was a constant mass of kinetic movement that never seemed to stop. The effects of the curse become much more apparent and we find out a great deal about the history of Nathan's family, which adds an entirely new level to the proceedings.

The tension was definitely upped from the last book. What really struck me was the intensity of it all. After finishing it, I was left in a kind of daze as I tried to process everything and shake off the lingering feelings that the book left me with. This can only be a good sign. Especially since I am not usually a reader of YA books.

Farrell has an amazing talent for really drawing you inside her character's heads and with the book flicking rapidly between perspectives it was rather like being caught in a whirlwind. The ending was frustrating, but only because the need for more information was so strong. I certainly hope that Adversity will plug the gap between now and the release of the third book.

When I reviewed Verity, I said that I would happily recommend it to my teenage sister, I do not think that I can say quite the same about this as I found myself reacting quite strongly to it and I think some of the themes are a little too mature for her. Of course, every teenager is different and there's a reason these books are classed as young adult. However, is a few years time, when the series is completely finished, I will definitely be giving her the set.

I loved this one as well. I read it so quickly and gutted when it finished and I am definitely getting the next book for sure. I did have to read the last few pages a couple of times but I did get there in the end. I will probably read this again because I loved it so much.

Total love this series and would recommend to all as they well worth the read. Won't tell you anything about the story line because I think it ruins it. So buy the book and get reading.
