This is the first time that I have read a book by Lacey London. The story is so down to earth and written with fun and love within each character.

There are moments of hilarity, moments of kindness and moments of love. The book is effortless to read as each chapter moves to the next with ease. You are drawn into the characters and their personalities in this uncomplicated story of friendship, family and the festivities leading up to the big day.

Clara and a Oliver are the perfect couple, hosting Christmas for the first time can go two ways ..... up or down! But with time passing by so quickly, can they sort out and present the perfect Christmas?

I seem to be the only one who was not smitten by this book. Although it had some humorous moments it was very predictable. What really annoyed me is this is supposed to be a British writer So I would have preferred her to have used got instead of gotten, takeaway instead of takeout and arse instead of ass. Thankfully she did use Father Christmas on occasion, but not nearly as many times as she said Santa.

Chick Lit is a favourite genre and I was delighted to come across 'Clara at Christmas' when it recently became available on a free promotion.
This was my first sampling of Lacey London's work and I wasn't disappointed. With a huge catalogue of Clara's adventures to keep us happy, this is clearly an author who enjoys her writing and wants her readers to enjoy it too. Well, that's certainly an easy task.
I chuckled my way through December with the delightful Clara as she wrestled with the various hurdles that life threw in her way. Every page brought a smile to my face and, for me, that's what this genre's all about. Wonderful heart-warming entertainment!

Clara Andrews book 4 sums up all great things about Christmas, food, snow, food, family, food, shopping, food, meals out, yes this couple and their friends and family know how to have a great run up to Christmas Day. Boy do they enjoy their food, don't read on an empty stomach. Lacey London writes about Clara as a real woman who you can relate to. Clothes labels, make-up, bags all things that are real. As you turn the pages of the book you can guess where it is going and it leaves you with a happy glow. 5 stars.

Browsing Amazon for a book to read I came across 'Meet Clara Andrews' and after reading the description thought it would be right up my street. And I wasn't wrong. Halfway through the 1st book I'd purchased the next 3. I honestly couldn't put them down and now can't wait to 'Meet Baby Morgan'.

These books are so well written you feel you know every character and each characters story is brilliantly interwoven. If you can't relate to Clara, you will see yourself in one of the other characters. From meeting Clara, to the future in-laws, to their Christmas together I loved everyone from start to finish.

Lacey London is now my favourite chicklit writer. These books are brilliantly written and if you haven't read them, I'd highly recommend you do.

I couldn't put it down and wanted to find out what happened at the end (even though i had guessed). i would happily read more of Lacey London's work. you can immerse yourself in her world and forget about what's happening around you for a short while.

Lacey London is such a positive writer. I have read Book 3 and Book 4 this week and loved them (having read the previous books in the series). The story and character development in 'Meet Clara Morgan' and 'Clara at Christmas' were brilliant. Clara and company are still adorable and going through relatable things.
You look forward to being able to pick up the story again. I would recommend everyone to read the series for themselves.
