'A story world I love.' (Stephenie Meyer)

'Prepare to be hooked.' (Entertainment Weekly)

'The new queen of fantasy.' (The Wall Street Journal)

'The Mortal Instruments series features a rare marriage of extremely intricate, fast-paced plotting with ample digressions into the emotional lives of characters we’ve come to care about deeply ... With a movie in the works, this is an excellent time for new readers to jump on board one of the most enjoyable series in YA. Smart, fun, and epic, these books are addictive for all the right reasons.' (Locus)

'Cassie's writing makes my toes curl with envy. She is the rare writer who can write fast-paced dramatic fantasy with gorgeous language and memorable characters that you grow to love and worry about, as well as really funny bits that will make you honestly laugh ... It is rare too find someone who can do any one of those things well; to find someone who can do them all is just dangerous.' (Holly Black, bestselling author of The Spiderwick Chronicles)

'The action once again climaxes in a tense, lush battle sequence just waiting for digital cinematic treatment ... [A] goth-and-glitter pleasure.' (Kirkus Reviews) --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Excellent book once again, I really didn't want it to finish and I rushed a few pages ONLY to make myself re-read them again. I love the characters and this author is fabulous at drawing you in 100%. You can relate to them, envy them and want to he one of them. It's very cool.

Cassandra Clare is brilliant and her imagination awesome. Now I have to wait a few months for book 6 - but I know it will be worth it and I hope it will not be the last of the Mortal Instruments series.

Karrie
