Product Description

Review

Beautifully told, this is a gripping story which flows effortlessly across boundaries which typically separate the real from the imaginary … Lucy Inglis makes magical delightfully credible as the fast-paced and danger-filled adventure unfolds. --Julia Eccleshare, children's literary critic

A fast-paced, thrilling novel that teenagers will love! --Young Writers

This is a gripping story that keeps the pages turning. The characters are well drawn and are many faceted … this kept my attention throughout and should appeal to older teens, both boys and girls. You will never look at a city and its inhabitants the same way again. --We Love This Book

Thought this was fab. Really enjoyed it. Loved the way real London is used and the mythical and magical blends in so easily. It's made me want to wander the city and look out for all of the things mentioned! Thought the characters were great - great to read about a kick-ass girl with strong morals and politics and a cool outlook and I loved Regan, too.

This book is amazing. Lucy Inglis is one of the best writers I have had the pleasure of reading. The use of real London mixed in with the fantasy makes this book original and creative, and also helps you imagine the settings and makes the book come to life. Lily Hillyard is a great role model for teen girls as she is independent, strong minded and still tries to help her dad. Regan Lupescar is perfect, his description is beautiful and he is very sassy and sarcastic. My friend and I love the feeling of the book cover as it is soft and unique.
