I have been using a Circulon Infinite 26cm chef's pan for over two years now and felt obliged to add some comments, in the light of some customer's negative experiences. By the way, my chef's pan is still in very good condition and still performs perfectly every day.

Like any quality frying pan, without special finishing, quality non-stick cookware needs 'seasoning' from new - yes! - believe it or not this is true. But why? - well, most quality products will work in a non-stick fashion from new, as one would expect - but after prolonged use (a few months) and repeated washing in between - especially in a dishwasher - the non-stick efficiency 'appears' to deteriorate and could lead one to think that the non-stick finish was sub-standard.

In my honest opinion and from experience, the real benefits of using quality non-stick cookware are to be obtained once the product has been well 'seasoned'. By 'seasoning', I mean the creation and maintenance of a thin layer of cooking oil residue across the cooking surface - this layer not only acts as a 'sealant' against imperfections in the non-stick finish, it also makes the surface smoother and most importantly of all it makes the surface water-repellant! This process can and does occur naturally, normally without concious thought, after prolonged use. Have you ever had a favourite frying pan that originally had no special finishing, i.e. non-stick, that over time eventually developed non-stick qualities? That is seasoning.

Here are some tips for creating, maintaining and enhancing the non-stick quality of your Circulon Infinite product and any other quality non-stick cookware for that matter.

I cannot get enough of this little pan. I use it to cook things in which really would be better being cooked elsewhere just because it's such a pleasure to use. It looks wonderful, really luxurious and robust. It is real quality item. I have the Circulon Elite pan set and every time I look at this frying pan, I dearly wish I had the entire set. The only reason I did not buy all my pots from the Infinite range is because I couldn't afford to.

However, the reason I did not buy the 20cm Elite frying pan is because I knew there would probably be issues with the handle being heavier than the pan and it tipping over. With this pan, that doesn't happen as the gorgeous aluminium base is heavy and stable. Nothing has ever stuck to my pan and it's a dream to wash.

Circulon Infinite is still my dream cookware range.....I would love to own the entire set!

I wouldn't recommend the Infinite range for people with wrist pain or weakness as the pans are quite heavy , but this pan is so small that you might just get away with it.

I already had the much larger 30cm skillet and loved it so much I had to get this smaller one - perfect for scrambling up some eggs or cooking other small meals. The non-stick surface is really the best I've ever used -- you can use much less oil in cooking and food still releases easily. It also withstands my husband's use of metal spatulas with no signs of scratching. Heats up super quick. Cleaning's a breeze. Note, it is a bit heavier than some other non-stick skillets, but I think that's a small tradeoff for what I think is a much more durable pan.

I bought this pan 16 months ago, together with a smaller and a bigger one of the same make. During this time and not a heavy use (once a month chips frying, once a week egg/omlette etc.) on a halogen hob, I found them to be of good quality and performance. I made a conscious effort to wash them by hand every time, until last week! Just to add that they are clearly marked as diswasher sage at the back.
I fried some fillets of salmon and because of the strong smell, I decided to put the two bigger ones in a dishwasher on a medium wash, which I use for my everyday washing of everything, including glasses, china and cutlery, without any problems.
Unfortunately, both pans came out with their interior having changed colour and looking patchy. I tried to fry eggs the following day and to my horror, they stuck!!!
I contacted Meyer and they asked to send photos of the pans, which I e-mailed to them, having explained over the telephone what the problem was. They replied that I should post those heavy pans to them at my own expense (probably about £15.00) and they will examine them and decide if compensation or replacement or nothing is due to me!
Instead, I shall buy another pair of pans and never, ever spend money on Meyer products again - due to disgraceful customer service from them.

Bought these as our first ever expensive purchase of cookware (and we're not that young) to go into our new kitchen which we never anticipate redoing again. My husband is the cook in our household and he is so pleased with the pans I'm not sure how to describe it.

Pros: Non stick, cook food to perfection, cook quickly and thus economically, easiest pan cleaning we've ever known, look great too.

Cons: Are heavyish pans so people with weak wrists be aware.

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these pans.
