Product description

Review

'There's an urgent need for more great writing about cider to give drinkers the knowledge, insight and education they crave around this wonderful but often misunderstood drink. Susanna Forbes has monitored the cider boom since the beginning and knows the ins and outs of apple varieties and flavour as well as anyone. Crucially, she not only writes with authority and style: she makes great cider herself!' -- Pete Brown, Beer Writer of the Year 2009, 2012, 2016 & Chair of British Guild of Beer Writers

About the Author

Susanna Forbes is one of the UK's foremost cider writers and experienced cider judges. Beer & Cider Editor for Imbibe magazine and Imbibe Live show, she has helped reshape the perception of cider among consumers and drinks trade alike. In November 2017 she won the title for Best Trade Writer at the British Guild of Beer Writer's Awards. Four years ago, inspired by what she found while researching drinks tourism, her and her husband, fellow drinks industry professional, James, sold up and left the London suburbs to set up Little Pomona Orchard & Cidery in Herefordshire.
