A very modern time travel story. Set now(ish) it follows the fortunes of employees and customers of Continuum, a company that markets the opportunity to go body hop with an ancestor of yours. This is very well written, with a highly narrative style that draws you in and sets the scene. It has a measured pace at the beginning, bringing the key characters to life. The pace could put you off at first, but please don’t let it. It may build slowly, but once it gets going it doesn’t let up. With time travel stories you always run the risk of being confused and questioning the integrity of the plot. Not so here.

All in all a well written, entertaining story. Recommended.

Really enjoyed this book. Excellent story that kept me hooked and had me going to bed early for a whole week just to have a sneaky read. If you are a fan of sci fi you won't be disappointed. Hoping Ms Allen writes another in the not too distant future.

From the moment I started reading this book I could not put it down, the opening prologue is beautifully written and the detail pulls you in and you feel like you are there, experiencing it.

The characters in the story are so believable that you feel like you know them, you probably know people just like them. I found myself warming to all the characters especially Jason, who makes a very geeky hero :) The whole idea of past life experiences and the impact that has on the present was truly gripping and ingeniously handled by the author.

In short this is a fantastic read and transports you to a different world. Let's hope I make it back ok :)

Clearly lots of thought has gone into getting the little details right in this book, especially on the subject of the unique version of time travel. But that certainly doesn't cause the book to become boring; it's quite the opposite. You wouldn't believe from the quality of writing that this is the author's first novel. To top it off, the protagonist rides a BMW motorcycle. Definitely my kind of book!

Wasn't sure what to expect from a debut novel but I really enjoyed it.
It was a very engaging read which kept me wanting to read, "just one more chapter". The characters were believable and the plot wizzed along at a good pace and the language was intelligent and thoughtful.
I am really looking forward to Book two, and anything else Justine Allen has to write.

Chronovisor is a fast-paced, entertaining, and addictive read! I was so captivated by the story that I barely managed to put the book down. Chronovisor has such a fantastic mix of sci-fi, history, adventure, and action that I would recommend it to just about anyone. Can't wait for the second one!
