'Why rob a straight guy of $20 when you can rob a drug dealer of $10,000 and he can't go running to the police!' 'I have been stabbed, shot, run over, and was once digging my own grave before I used the shovel as a meat cleaver.' 'In relation to my stabbing, I tried my utmost to be polite and complimented the offender for his sneaky approach.' He's everyone's best loved criminal and one of the most notorious, toughest individuals on the planet. Mark Brandon 'Chopper' Read has kept his fans enthralled with his hilarious observations on the underworld crime scene and his turbulent and violent lifestyle for years, and this is latest installment.

This book, to those who do not know, is basically a lot of random stories about his past and present. He likes to talk about gang fights he would get into in Melbourne, good fighters and friends, and the women he has loved. This book is definitely a shocker and not for the faint of hearted with tales of bloodshed and murder. Although some parts, if you hold the right sense of humour, will make you laugh out loud and maybe even cry.
This book differs slightly from his first three as most of what he wrote had to be smuggles out of prison as he was not given authority to write another book. Other than that it is very similar to his first three.
He is truly a unique man with an intriguing story, but it is a gruesome book that talks about real killing so be wary of that.
Gangsters that live amongst us are a strange species are they all the product of a broken childhood? I cannot empathize with people that enjoy inflicting pain.
