Chopin's Nocturne in C sharp Minor( Known as Lento con gran expressione.) was written by Chopin when he was
twenty years of age.He wrote it for his Sister;so that it would help her to play his First Piano Concerto in F minor.

It must be played on a good piano." A piano shaped object" will not do ! The correct tempo must be observed, and it is absolutely essential to observe the rests to obtain the true beauty of this wonderful composition.I play it three times every
day;and it always sends me to another world,A world of beauty and poetry.

Incidently, the Piano Concerto in Eminor is Chopin's Second Piano Concerto. The First Piano Concerto is in FMinor which was lost in the post for some time.In that time the Second Piano Concerto was published. Why this gross inaccuracy has
not been corrected is incomprehesible to me.
