She cries poverty through most of it but she couldn't hold a job so it's her own fault. She didn't have to turn to pole dancing. She had choices.
Chloe has basically chose to live a life of partying and jet setting and never puts her daughter first. She spent the last of her savings on a boob job for God's sake when she had a baby who was living in a cold house with nothing.
Oh and the whole Mr starship thing....yawn! Wake up chloe! He's clearly a married man. Again, he comes before her daughter. Jetting around the world to see him palming her child off on whoever will have her.
Chloe has actually disgusted me and I will never see her in the same light again.
If you believe that an education is a waste of time, that society owes you a favour, that fame = fortune (despite having no skills to speak of) and that taking your clothes off is a viable option to feed your child because you're too lazy to stick a 9-5, and too stupid to be enterprising, then you will love this read.
If you chase after someone and set your heart on them because of what they appear to have, or if you think it's ok to leave your children with babysitters to scour the London nightlife looking for someone famous then make this your bible.
If you read chloe simms book in a day don't think it's because it's so profound you couldn't put it down, it is because it could have been written by a child and has no substance to it.
I wasn't expecting this book to be intelligent, just an entertaining read. But I didn't expect to intensely dislike her afterwards. Appalled by the lovely comments I read from young girls who think this behaviour is acceptable and think she's had a tough life. Get a grip!
It is a couple of hours of my life that I won't get back. What a complete load of tripe. Don't waste your time on this vacuous, self serving bimbo.
Go and do something less harmful to yourself, like sword swallowing or piranha juggling - better yet get a life. I have!
The reasons I am cross with her story and behaviour contains spoilers so do not read on if you don't want to know.
Similar to other reviews, I was enjoying reading about Chloe's past until the whole Mr. Starship thing. This is the man she has discussed on Towie as being the love of her life who lives abroad who she can't be with. From reading this book I find this is the man that Chloe is happy to be A COMPLETE MUG FOR.
I feel her "love story" is a terrible example to young fans and definitely NOT how you should let a man treat you.
Half the book is about how this man messes her around, so if you're not interested in reading about a girl acting like a FOOL then do not buy. It was UTTERLY infuriating to read!
I am shocked a girl like Chloe can let a man dominate her life. This man has caused her endless days, months, years of heartache and offers her scraps off his table. After Mr. Starship is introduced into the book, it is repetitive, repetitive, repetitive. Different settings but same story over and over; him messing her around and her not knowing where she stands.
He would stand her up, get her to travel to different cities / countries to meet him only to tell her he couldn't meet her and / or just not answer his phone.
He would go AWOL for over a year, tell her that they would be married 'one' day but wouldn't let her say she was his girlfriend?! He even stood her up on Christmas Day. She went to THERAPY over the guy as he made her feel so wretched yet nothing has changed.
The worst part is how she stretched her friends and family to the limit.Read more ›
