As the traditional 'I Ching' is one of my most respected divination tools, I was at first dubious about the value of these cards. After all, they can't match the complexity of the original. But I tried them at a seminar, and found them to be quite nice. No, they don't replace a full reading. But they aren't meant to and the single-card streamlined commentary is clear and direct. Each card has an ink painting made especially for the specific hexagram, and the deck has a pleasant helpful energy. The box is nice and sturdy, easy to access. Recommended as a card to draw first thing in the morning, etc.
