Some decent takeaways from this book. The theory that we have a more primitive part of our brain the reacts in a way we don't like makes sense.

I would prefer a little more of a scientific explanation, autopilots and goblins and gremlins are just not relatable to me, found this a struggle at times in terms of staying engaged.

Good concepts.
But it's like a childrens book to read.
The illustrations are gimmicky and I found it dull.
I was expecting this to be a how to book, but the only really concrete technique I've taken from it is an example of meditation before a race run.
I far preferred 'Mindset' by Carol Dweck.

Statements such as Humans by their nature will establish society rules "based on equality and opportunity" halted my reading of this book. Really? Through the ages I would have thought that these are the exception rather than the rule. I also found the planetary structures unnecessary, confusing and instantly forgettable. I gave it benefit of the doubt and to show goodwill am re-reading it but am finding it hard going the second time and agree with others that it is a bit childish.
