I have only given this a low rating which is bit unfair as I downloaded it for my 5 year old grandson who wanted to see how a Kindle works. He was delighted with the technology of it and thought it was 'magic'. That said, as an adult, it was in black and white and on a small screen, so we didn't receive the full impact of a story book. I don't wish to comment further as it was not a 'fair test' for the author's craft. I am sure the hard copy is better in this case. PS....Love my Kindle!!

This is Book 2 in The Tree Series. In a tree full of owls, the owls sit very still, as owls should. Well, all except Charlie who likes to dance! When he was little, this was not such a problem, but now he is bigger he shakes the whole tree and the other owls are annoyed. So, Charlie sets off to find a new home, where he won’t annoy everybody, but will he ever find somewhere that will accept him?

These are fun books, probably best for 2-4 year olds, although this is not the best in the series. The first book is “One Tree” (easily the most enjoyable) and the third in the series is, “The Singing Bobcat."

Dreadful excuse for a book. The rhymes are poor and the writer seems to have no knowledge of metre. If it hadn't been free I'd have asked for my money back.

When there are such wonderful rhyming works for children out there, no-one should give this time of day.
