I have travelled in Italy extensively and many of my relatives live there. Although I've never been to Sardinia, I know many people from that region and can honestly say that the author did an outstanding job of capturing the culture, the warmth, and history of this island. Her travels there definitely come through in the story.
A great story, a gripping plot, and endearing characters set in historical Sardinia makes this one great read! Part romance, part family saga, there is plenty to love!
