The Vietnam war from the cockpit of a Huey
on 12 December 2015
It view of the Vietnam war for the cockpit of a Huey. Goes into details about flying over the hostile jungle and what it's like to pick up wounded man and dead ones! Mason gives a few technical details about flight manouvers and helicopters controls at the start of the book when he recounts his training. He also let's us in on what pilots and crew did in their free time in paces like Saigon. This changed my view slightly of the war. Gives some graphic details about injuries. I was disappointed with the abrupt ending and feel like there is another story to read now.
