Chicken Soup for the Soul is the umbrella title for the highly successful series of inspirational books co-authored by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. Both authors are experts in the field of personal empowerment and growth--Canfield specialising in training professionals; Hansen in attaining strategic excellence. In Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, the Canfield and Hansen are joined by Kimberly Kirberger, managing editor of the Chicken Soup for the Soul organisation (and Jack Canfield's sister). Kirberger has worked with disabled children and she spends much of her free time working with teenagers. As such, Kirberger spearheaded the collation of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul by working closely with a group of teens who identified the issues they wanted to see covered, and then selected the stories that best conveyed them.
Over half the stories in this excellent collection are written by teenagers and they are grouped under chapter headings which include relationships, friendship, family, love and kindness, education and making a difference. The stories are fun and heart-warming, sometimes hard and emotionally tough but always enlightening. And on the end pages there are details of the contributors, both adult and teenage alike. This is one of those feel-good books which genuinely lives up to its billing: 101 stories to open the heart and rekindle the spirit.--Lucas LoBlack
The Chicken Soup series is a publishing phenomenon that has sold more than 85 million copies in over 30 languages. Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul II is a moving collection of stories that will inspire all teenagers. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.See all Product Description

As I said the aouthors write about things we can actually realte with. Don't you hate when you read a book that is suppose to be for kids like us, and it has all these things we have never even heard about. A sixteen year old name Jim says, "This book is a perfect book for teenagers." I feel that this boook desvers each and ever star that it recived. There is one story in peticular that I think many people have to deal with. They have to deal woth the fact that there family and friends are anorix. The story is called The Right Thing, by Kelly Garnet. What she did was very heroic and smart. She turned her friend in to the school concusler. In the end it was the right thing. This book gives you adive to get through things like that. Not only does this give advice, it also has many famous people writting in it.
I was so surprised when I saw the tons of stories by famous people in it. One of the extremly famous authors are Jennifer love Hewitt. She wrote bright heart, in the first book, and a friend for life, in this one. She is from Party of Five, and I Know what you did last summer. Another famous aouthor is Andrew Keegan. He is wrote seven mintues in heaven.Read more ›
