Having previously read Chicken Soup for the Soul, which I enjoyed, I found this a tedious read. It's VERY American and far too many references to 'god' in there for my atheist taste. Found nothing enlightening at all in this read.

The Chicken Soup series is always a pleaser, but seriously, I've gotten so many of them as gifts etc. Do I really need to read 303 wonderful stories? I'm almost getting numb to them. One book is plenty. Every one seems to offer quality soups and plenty of recognizable people to add credit to the story. I recommend any of the books, but don't recommend going crazy and buying anymore than one or two. The material/message just gets a little repetitive after a while.

A worthy addition to the Chicken Soup for the Soul
line of books. The stories of love and compassion
in our daily work environment are inspiring
and frustrating to those of us who try to do our
best at work but find ourselves butting heads
with people who just don't care.

I love this book very much. I guess you could call it my favorite one. I am 14 years old and deal with a lot of hard things and your books really help me. I have heard stories from it at camps, at school, and at church. Sometimes when something is bothering me I look in there to see if anyone else has this problem and i can see how they handled it. Your book has really helped me through my teens eventhough I am just becoming one. I would recomend that yall get more publicity for your books so that other people can find them and get help like I did. Thank you so much for writting it, It is great. sincerely Blakeley (Mobile, Alabama)

I think that all of us at some time or another felt like staying in bed or staying away from our work place. We still showed up under obligation. I think if you read some of the stories and thoughts in this book it will make your day go just a bit easier. Why not start the day with some encouragement and a smile? Afterall, we all do better work when we actually care about what we are doing. I think that this book reminds us not to lose site of why we are doing what we are doing.

I run a leadership programme and I find this book a source of stories that will encourage, inspire, recharge and generally "activate" people. I use my book whenever I sense the attention of the group is flagging, and the stories never fail to get a reaction!
